Privacy Policy
Effective date: 6 November 2026 App: ExamWallet (Android), package com.examwallet.app Contact: support@vabhora.com
ExamWallet helps you keep track of your exams and store your exam documents on your own phone. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
The short version
- ExamWallet does not collect, send or sell any personal information.
- Everything you add stays only on your phone. The app does not even have permission to access the internet.
- There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking in this version.
Information you add
You may enter exam details (names, dates, notes such as roll numbers or exam centres, results) and attach documents (PDF, JPG or PNG files such as hall tickets or application forms). This information is saved in the app's private storage on your phone. We (the developer) never receive it and cannot see it.
You can edit or delete any exam or document at any time inside the app. Deleting an exam deletes its documents. Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored.
My Documents
My Documents is an optional space where you can keep your own copies of personal files, such as an ID proof, driving licence, vehicle registration, certificates, a photo or a signature, so they are ready when you fill in applications.
- These files are stored only in the app's private storage on your phone, like your exam documents. They are never uploaded, and we (the developer) never receive them.
- The app does not read, check or extract any information from these files. It only stores them and shows them back to you.
- Screenshots and screen recording are blocked while My Documents is open.
- You can protect My Documents with your PIN or fingerprint (see App Lock).
- You can rename, share or delete any of these files at any time. Sharing happens only when you choose it, to the app you pick.
- These are your own copies for convenience. They are not official or verified documents.
Backups
- Backups you create: ExamWallet can create a backup file (.zip) of your exams and documents, including My Documents. The file is saved or shared only where you choose (for example your phone's storage, your own Google Drive, or a message to yourself). Anyone with that file can open it, so keep it private.
- Android's own backup: if Android backup is turned on in your phone's settings, Android may include ExamWallet's data in your personal Google account backup, as it does for other apps. This is managed by Android and your Google account, not by us.
Permissions the app uses
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Notifications | To remind you about last dates, hall tickets, exam days and results. |
| Run at start-up | To restore your scheduled reminders after the phone restarts. |
| Fingerprint / face (biometric) | Optional App Lock. Your fingerprint or face is checked by Android; the app never receives it. |
| Vibration | Gentle touch feedback on taps and actions (can be turned off in Settings). |
Files come into the app only when you choose them: through Android's file picker, or when you share a file to ExamWallet or open a PDF with it from another app (for example WhatsApp, Telegram or your file manager). The app cannot read your other files.
Home-screen widgets
If you add an ExamWallet widget to your home screen, it shows exam names and the days left until their dates. Anyone who can see your home screen can see this, even when App Lock is on. Remove the widget if you prefer to keep it private.
App Lock
If you turn on App Lock, your PIN is stored only as a one-way scrambled code (a salted hash) on your phone, never as the PIN itself. You can lock the whole app, or only My Documents; both use the same PIN. App Lock keeps other people out of the app; it does not encrypt your files.
Links to our website
ExamWallet links to SpriteSplit (www.spritesplit.com), our free website with tools to resize photos and signatures and compress PDFs for application forms. These links open in your browser only when you tap them; ExamWallet sends nothing to the website. SpriteSplit's own privacy policy applies there.
Children
ExamWallet is meant for students aged 13 and over, exam aspirants and parents. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If a future version adds features that change how information is handled (for example, ads), this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
